New Kid in Town

A smooth and soulful balladeer. New Kid in Town music is downright in the tradition of those very few music artisans who crafted ther own unique style and sound. His influences are mostly rock artists: Neil Young, Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynyrd,Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Donavon Frankenreiter and Cat Stevens are among his favorites. New Kid In Town started performing in London in September 2009 and quickly earned many different residencies as a performer and DJ at various venues across London including Proud, 93 Ft East, etcetera.....Although his music can be classified as classic rock his debut album "Days & Nights", which contains the homonymous single and "Every Little Thing Will Be Alright", is an eclectic work where many different elements from rock to blues,jazz and reggae merge into a new style. His solo acoustic follow up "Acoustic Prayers" is a stripped down album that contains two fingerpicking instrumental tracks and the songs "By Her Side (over rainbows)", "Big bad World" and "Let's Sing A song".Currently working on a new album that will be called "Morning Light" and that will see him return to a much more classic rock oriented sound.
