MINKA is a Japanese inspired, Philadelphia born & raised, high energy Synth-Funk quartet with one mission…and that’s to make YOU move. MINKA is a touring machine, tearing up over 200 dance floors per year spreading the gospel of Funk music across the US. If you combine the sex appeal of Prince, the wardrobe style of David Bowie, the musical genius of David Byrne, and the showmanship of The Godfather of Soul, you’ll have MINKA frontman Ari Rubin, aka “The Jewish James Brown”. If you have a pulse, you’re going to love MINKA. If you don’t have a pulse, I’m really worried about you.
