DJ Cassidy will bring his heralded "Pass The Mic Live!" to Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in July 2024 for an exclusive three week residency starring New York native Hip Hop icons Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Slick Rick, and Doug E. Fresh. The five man team will follow Bakkt Theater alumni Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, The Backstreet Boys, Gwen Stefani, and Shania Twain, all whose residencies have called the venue home. The residency will debut an all-star ensemble of Hip Hop legends, uniting solely for this show, and will announce weekly special guests. DJ Cassidy will "Pass The Mic Live" on stage to each artist through his groundbreaking format, taking audiences on an unprecedented musical journey, redefining the art of collaboration and celebration.

Doug E. Fresh Biography
Doug E. Fresh (born Douglas E. Davis, 17 September 1966, in Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands) is an American rapper, record producer, and beatboxer. One of the earliest beatboxers (and still seen as one of the best), Fresh is able to imitate drum machines and various special effects with often startling accuracy. Fresh's early records are out of print, and have never been released on compact disc; thus original records can command high prices.
