Leader of the Tunisian underground scene since its inception in 2006, Gultrah is undoubtedly the most renowned group in Tunisia. Gultrah's songs do not hide an active social commitment, and their music, influenced by a variety of genres (reggae, rock, roots, etc.), has left an indelible mark on its audience. They define themselves as part of "roots tounsi," as their music continually draws from the Tunisian musical heritage while opening up to the world. After a first album paying tribute to Tunisians, portraying their fears, concerns, and the injustices they face, all while advocating a glimmer of youthful hope, Gultrah returns with a second album delving into the depths of introspection and self-acceptance through nine poignant tracks.
