Forever proud to call herself a folk singer, Kate Rusby rounds off 2024 in style with her annual, and much anticipated, Christmas tour. Full of warmth, sparkles and her unique festive music featuring songs from her latest charting Christmas album Light Years 2023 and a selection from her ever-popular previous six Christmas albums.
Hailed as 'The Start of Christmas' for many, a Kate Rusby Christmas Concert perpetuates the tradition of Yorkshire carols, specific carols still sung in the pubs of South Yorkshire and much more.
Her happiness, humour and storytelling are a feature of Kate's live shows branding herself as a Holly Head - someone who loves Christmas. Joining her on stage for this unmissable evening of Christmas cheer will be, as ever, her hugely talented and intuitive band of musicians including producer and husband Damien O'Kane as well as a top-flight brass quintet affectionately known as The Brass Boys.

My first time seeing Kate. Thoroughly enjoyed the gig. Her angelic voice mixed with earthy northern lass humour. I had a ticket for her that I bought in 2020 but what with COVID and illness push backs and then my forgetting to finally go on the rescheduled date, I thought I must catch this tour. 10 minutes into this gig the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate the building, so I was concerned that this gig might also be cancelled.
But it was a false alarm and the gig restarted and continued as if nothing had happened.
Great atmosphere, top class musicianship and songs that really touch you. I will definitely keep an eye out for future tours.
