John Lodge

John remains enthusiastic through his l-o-n-g career! Thanks for bringing me such tremendous musical joy for decades. The cellist was awesome. Well, the whole band is awesome. Would really like to have had a real flute and not a synthesized version. Now if we could get Justin, Mike, & Denny on stage with John Lodge at the same time in my lifetime... Can't find a better venue for Any concert than Wildey Theater in Edwardsville, MO

Wonderful show. Lodge is in fine voice and has all the energy he needs to rock out. (He's 78, but you wouldn't know it.) It was nice to have Graeme Edge's voice doing spoken word parts from Nights in White Satin, and the tribute to Ray Thomas was appreciated. John's stories were a perfect addition to the song choices. I was pleased to hear Saved by the Music from Blue Jays, the record he made with Justin Hayward in 1975. I saw the Moodies in 2018, just before Graeme passed. I understand why Justin doesn't want to tour as the Moody Blues with only two left, but from a fan's POV, nobody else sounds right singing Tuesday Afternoon and Nights in White Satin. Not even Jon Davison (currently singing Jon Anderson's parts in Yes). Missed having a flautist, too. But I would go again. The Moody Blues have a special place in my heart. My gateway drug to prog rock, and it never got indulgent. The Kavli Theater is a lovely small venue with excellent acoustics, even in the balcony. I'll be back to see Tower of Power (current lineup) this fall.

It was a great show. Also the sound was excellent. Would go to this theatre again thou it’s a 2 hour drive each way.

What a wonderful night of Moody Blues classics John Lodge and his 10,000 light year band played for us diehard Moody Blues fans last night at the Smith Center in Las Vegas. John was incredible and looked so happy while performing. His back up band was amazing with Duffy, Alan and Josh Anderson from the group YES. What a fantastic voice he has. It truly was a night to remember 🥰🎸🥰

John Lodge is a rock n roll maestro. He surrounds himself with talented musicians too, so the Days of Future Passed show was incredible. The Detroit crowd loved him!

Most wonderful music ever written and the words the message the most beautiful way to look at life!!! I truly love the Moody Blues. Look up It’s a Beautiful Day you’ll fall in love with them also The Alan Parsons Project listen closely and feel the music and the message one more Pink Floyd they should all move one deeply.

What an absolutely WONDERFUL evening!!! I have been a Moody Blues follower for decades and was beyond delighted to have John perform with the Coachella Valley Symphony. I found the youth volunteers to be filled with love & enthusiasm and I will help in my small way to promote this wonderful Symphony Orchestra and encourage my friends & family to support CV Symphony. The John Lodge band was on fire at Sony Hall. All the Moody Blue songs they hit, they hit them with passion. Duffy King, the lead guitarist, was excellent. Alan Hewitt on keyboard was stunning so was their cello player. Their special guest artist, Jon’s voice was “Dreamy.”. His interpretation of “Nights in White Satin” was truly wonderful. I truly love seeing the JohnLodge band live. Thank you John Lodge and your 10,000 Light Years Band”for keeping the Moody Blues music a live and relevant to what’s going on today.♥️🏆♥️ Please Come on back to New York soon, we are keeping the faith🎸

John Lodge and the 10,000 Light Years Band was fabulous! Keeping the music of the Moody Blues alive.

John Lodge and his 10,000 Light Years Band gave an exciting performance at the Infinity Hall in Hartford, CT on Feb 25th. The first half of the concert featured John's very popular songs with the Moody Blues plus a song from the Blue Jays album. John also included a tribute to the late Ray Thomas with his song "Legend of a Mind" , also known as Timothy Leary's Dead. All of these were big audience pleasers. The second half of the concert was the entire "Days of Future Passed" Moody Blues album, historically recognized as the beginning of Progressive Rock genre. The late Graeme Edge contributed a video recitation of his own poetry at the beginning the "Nights in White Satin." The smiles on the band's faces were mirrored by the smiles of the audience' faces. There were many standing ovations by a very happy audience.

Did not see John's show at this venue but did se the show at Infinity Hall in Hartford Saturday February 25th. Excellent show as always. While it is my opinion NO ONE should sing Nights in White Satin except Justin Hayward, I'll admit Jon Anderson did an adequate rendition, certainly better than last year's which was dreadful. Exiting the parking garages near Infinity hall is always an adventure. Took 45 minutes and the and the card only payment kiosks were not easily operated for folks not familiar with them. There were no payment stations staffed by a live human to take old fashioned cash.

John was phenomenal and he was backed up by an equally phenomenal band. They performed opening set, had an intermission, and when they returned, they performed the entire Days of Future Past album. How incredible is that? They were not backed up Wyatt orchestra as the Moody Blues were when the album was recorded, but the musicians were superb, and it sounded almost exactly like the album. This was truly a great show!

I hadn't seen John in a solo Concert, even though I had seen many Moody Blues Concerts and Justin Hayward on his solo tour. I attended the Comerica Theatre concert on July 24th and I've concluded that together as the Moody Blues, or as a Solo Act, they are World Class Performers as attested by their induction into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018, on their first nomination. Great Classic Rock is alive and well! If you have the chance to see John, or Justin, GO! While Justin is the Lead Singer in the Band, John has written some great songs that are an integral part of the Band's concerts. So, be prepared to have a SUPER time with John Lodge, Singer, Songwriter and one of the best Bass guitar players around!.

The best event center ever. Finally met John after numerous concerts, flying everywhere to see him. And Ludlow garage made my dream come true. Staff, Manager . Clare and the bartenders even the girls in the basement were amazing. I keep asking for Squirt and the waitress made me laugh every time, Food was also outstanding dining before the show. Will def go back some day when another venue I like come into town. Small personal venue so you get the person touch and meet the band after. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. Thanks so much Flew in from Fl SWFL to see john in cold Cleveland.
