Exek

Top night - the band were on form with a quick and punchy show. The Curtin was at capacity with a lively crowd who appreciated Albert handing the maracas around and, such was the reception, we even got an encore. The new songs work well leave and made for a more direct, dare I say rocky, sound but the unique mix of dub bass, Teutonic drums, icy guitar and abstract vocals still make for a unique Exek experience. The sound could have been better - it was a bit muddled but overall we had a top night.
