I have been meaning to catch "Gonzo" for ages, and last night, it happened. I totally love his broad contradictions of style, as did the whole audience. The way he can go from such delicate finger pieces on the piano to total chaotic thunder and back again is a sight to behold. The band were all up to the task and cooed well with the apparent chaos.
Highlight for me was "Never Stop" Chilly Rap version and Chilly going through the stalls high giving everyone and standing on the backs of the chairs. Also new track F*** Wagner on Timpani was another crazy detour.
In Gonzo we trust.
