American shoegaze-meets-black-metal trailblazers DEAFHEAVEN have announced their most extensive Australian & New Zealand headline tour to date, scheduled for May & June 2023.Their first visit in over 4 years will see them play in Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne, as well as Wellington, Auckland and finally wrapping up the tour at Hobart’s Dark Mofo. The band will play multiple shows in Melbourne & Perth, as well as their biggest ever headline shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.The band are touring in support of their acclaimed new album ‘Infinite Granite.’ The record features some of their finest melodic songwriting to date, whilst exploring less intense sonic territory than their previous records.From the uplift of ‘Great Mass of Color’ to the brooding ‘In Blur’, the record is awash with lush soundscapes conjured by the band and anchored by singer George Clarke’s startlingly impressive melodic tenor and multi part harmonies.Their live show continues to be a juxtaposition of epic proportions and this tour will be no exception, with five diverse studio albums to draw from. The band will also celebrate 10 years of their seminal ‘blackgaze’ record ‘Sunbather’ by performing it in full exclusively at Dark Mofo Festival.
