The band transitioned from acoustic to electric with the addition of Warren Hall (drums), Sebastian Davidson (upright and electric bass) and Tim Newhouse (keys and saxophone).Since releasing their debut album “Soul-Sterious” and EP “Ecstasy” in 2021, Cassis has focused on more writing and recording and released a suite of four singles in late 2022 and early 2023.The band is now working on new songs that they are self-producing in preparation for the release of a new album in 2023.Cassis on SpotifyInstagram: cassis.blackFacebook: cassisband

Spooky Biography

Spooky is an electronica duo from the uk consisting of Duncan Forbes and Charlie May. They debuted with "Gargantuan" after signing to guerilla records, William Orbit's old progressive house label. The album was critically acclaimed, as was the follow-up, "Found Sound" (1996). This was followed by several popular singles, released on Spooky's own generic records.

Spooky are also talented remixers, reworking William Orbit's "Water from a Vine Leaf" into one of the most haunting dance tracks of the '90s -- it was the closing track on Sasha's first "Northern Exposure" mix album.

In 1999, Charlie May collaborated with Sasha on his "Xpander EP" and in 2002 he co-produced most tracks on Sasha's "Airdrawndagger" album. The same year saw the release of "Belong," the first Spooky single on deviant records.

A welcome return was signaled in 2006 with the track "No Return" and a new home on the web www.spooky.uk.com. A new album is slated for late 2007.

Not to be confused with the similarly named "DJ Spooky That Subliminal Kid"

Or the identically named grime producer from Slew Dem Crew http://www.slewdemcrew.co.uk/
