In a special, one-night-only event, Phil Kaye will be conducting his first live in-person performance since before the pandemic. Phil will be collaborating with celebrated brass quartet The Westerlies for an evening of music and poetry, taking place on the gorgeous, newly-built outdoor amphitheater at Little Island in New York City. Full Description: Phil Kaye, award-winning poet and performer, explores the multidimensional layers of home: the sound of his grandmother’s voice, the laughs outside his apartment window, an imagined scene if his parents had stayed in Tokyo. In a special collaboration with acclaimed brass quartet, The Westerlies, the artists come together for a night of poetry and live music that is both reflective and celebratory.
