Indigo Kidd: "Singer/guitarist Eli Curtsinger has somehow stumbled into the magic rarified realm of singer songwriter giants and survived to yell about it, slashing at his guitar and pouring his heart out in clever, brisk and undeniably catchy material. This band has so many things you don't normally stumble across in a local rock three piece. Their songs are amazing. Their singer is full of emotive power. Their drummer can lay down a beat as solid as the latest AKAI sampler, while smart enough not to overplay and savvy enough to get the crowd grooving. If you have ever wondered what it was like to see a group like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Smashing Pumpkins or The Cure when they were still young and playing small clubs, this might be your best chance to catch those vibes from an up and coming band who is tearing it up right now. Their songs- such as "Lies" and "Nicotine Queen" are ear worms ready to invade your brain." - Terbo Ted SEACATS: "Northwest funny guys"... is what we would say if we were Seattle five years ago, still not knowing how fortunate we were to have Seacats. Fortunately, we live in Las Vegas and know exactly how great this band is. Would you rather see some skinny guy in flannel stare at his feet and sing songs presumably about his exgirlfriend, or watch Josh Davis poor his soul into epic spun tales of growing up, naiveté, toxic masculinity, and other endeavors that you'll simply have to experience? We mistakenly put a question mark at the end of that sentence. We know the answer, and by now you should too. Come treat your palette to something interesting. It's good for you. Same Sex Mary: Indie rock that is reminiscent of bands like Pixies and the Flaming Lips. The quiet parts are peaceful and the loud parts are explosive. FACT: This band once played at Bunkhouse while the power was out and it was still one of the greatest Vegas shows of that year.
