Welcome, Artists! You are invited to participate as an art vendor for “Live on the Horizon”, a music and arts festival on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from Noon until 6:00 PM. This is in partnership with CAS (Creative Arts Society) 2019 ART PopUp Exhibit “West of West”, the Dripping Springs Songwriters, and Dripping with Taste. Preliminary Call for Artists / Exhibitors: ALL Potential Artists / Exhibitors – An EventBrite RSVP is REQUIRED - Please Complete your Submission Below. This Ticket serves as your Preliminary Reservation for One (1) 10'x10' Art PopUp Exhibit Space with One table and One chair included. The deadline for reserving your ticket is 6/5/19 at 7:00 PM. IMPORTANT - This does not guarantee your submission will be accepted. Upon review of ALL submissions - You will be Notified of Acceptance. How much does it cost? FREE for artists, which includes the 10x10 foot space under tent cover with table and chair. What else is happening during the event? From noon until 6:00 PM, there will be live music performances on the main stage throughout the day on the open field (where artist tent spaces will be). In addition, there will be complimentary beer tastings, children’s activities, food and much more! Shuttles will be available for incoming persons as well as golf carts traveling to the onsite models. Do I need to be a CAS member to submit for an artist space? No. Artists will be selected for the event whether or not you are a current CAS member. However, CAS members receive PRIORITY space selection at the event and are given priority with regards to artist selection. Promotion/Marketing: In addition to CAS sponsored marketing, Headwaters will advertise the event on a variety of platforms, including social media (over 6,000 followers). Dripping Springs Songwriters have vast outreach in the Hill Country area as well, and the event will be featured on the Dripping with Taste passport (https://www.destinationdrippingsprings.com/p/events/dwt-trail), a big draw for Wimberley, Dripping Springs, Bee Caves, Blanco County, and central Austin. Tents: Headwaters will provide several large Tent Rows of 10' x 100' white tents with or without sides in the Main Event Venue Area. Each Artist / Exhibitor is Reserving a 10' x 10' space within a Tent Row. 1 Table and 1 Chair would also be included. All 10x10 booth spaces will be assigned at the sole discretion of the venue. These Tent Rows will be situated in the Main Event Venue Area (large open field) across from the Live Music Stage. Other live and interactive vendors may be situated in the tents and other areas directing and focusing incoming visitor traffic to the Main Event Venue Area. There is also a wonderful green belt and playground close by. CAS and/or HW will refuse any artwork that is: deemed inappropriate (must be family friendly). CAS and/or HW will not include in any exhibit artwork that has nudes, hate speech, graphic violence, explicit content or is otherwise unacceptable to CAS/HW venue at it's sole discretion. 2) This is a Rain or Shine Event. There will be No Rain Date. In the event of bad weather, Artist must decide to Set Up or Not by Event Start time and remain set up until Event End time or Not Set Up at All. CAS and/or HW assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged goods. 3) Artists must Unload/Load at Designated Times and Procedures as Advised. Exhibit Move-In will begin at 8am. Event Start will be at 12pm. Event End will be at 6pm. Exhibit Move-Out should be completed by 8pm. Assistance from HW Staff and Volunteers using Venue Equipment (carts, wagons, dollies) Will Only Be Provided During Exhibit Move-In and Move-Out Designated Times. 4) Exhibit Must Be Attended/Monitored by Exhibiting Artists or Designated Assistants During the Entire Event Period of 12pm-6pm. No Pets are Allowed in the Main Exhibit Venue Area. 5) Artists are Required to Provide their own Payment Devices and methods for all Sales. No Commissions will be required. Complimentary WiFi access will be provided upon request. 6) Artists are requested to have a Sales Tax Permit in accordance with Texas law. Photographs may be used for business purposes, including, but not limited to: press, publications, online, social media, marketing, advertising, and print. CAS and/or HW Venue may create marketing material from this media for the event promotion.
