Shueh-li Ong, has been invited back to do her special finger-dance at Arcana Durham to commemorate the inventiveness of Bob Moog and Leon Theremin. “Singapore’s diva and Nashville’s queen of the theremin” will entertain you with her original stash of jazz fusion, prog rock, electronica and more, and performing on her Bob Moog customised Etherwave, tin-whistle, synth, and voice. This is a 21+ event with a $10 suggested donation.

BIO: Shueh-li Ong is a Nashville-based composer/producer and world-renown thereminist whose music bears elements of her Australian-Singapore heritage, and training in classical and electronic music. Besides her 4 albums, her theremin playing appears on an indie sci-fi film, a contemporary classical work, and albums by several prog-rock artists. Shueh-li and her band, Xenovibes, performed at the 2007 Moogfest in NYC.
