Neal Schon Biography
Founding member and guitarist for Journey, Neal Schon was born February 27, 1954 at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma a child prodigy, he joined Santana at age 17, making his debut on 1971's III LP. In 1973 Schon co-founded Journey with fellow Santana alum Gregg Rolie; although the group's early records favored a largely instrumental, progressive rock-influenced approach.
Journey’s worldwide sales total over 100 million records, making them one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time, With a very broad selection of great material spanning from 1973 to now. "Don’t Stop Believin'", "Lights", "Stone in Love", "Look into the Future", "Of a Lifetime", "Wheel in the Sky", "Only the Young", "Escape", Mother Father", and "Still the Ride". "Anyway you want it" penned by Schön and Perry is the second most downloaded song next to "Don't Stop Believin" !
