I haven’t been to a Black Keys concert in a long time. They did not disappoint. This was a great show! A shout out to Starlight Theater. It’s been years since I’ve been there also. So many great updates. More restrooms, places to eat. The huge fans cooling people down. A beautiful venue for a concert or play.

So grateful I managed to get tickets to see the black keys . This will a gig I will remember forever . The seats we managed to get where closer to the standing area so great views of the band . The supporting acts were good , I like some of the tracks by spoon which were quite catchy , Shannon and the clams I liked their sound it was different to stuff I heard before and I also liked that the singer had Manchester ancestry 😊. The black keys rocked though , I couldn’t stop dancing like a idiot probably haha , but the atmosphere was amazing and I was glad Dan had mentioned to some member (beef cake) of the crowd to calm down in a tactful way , it’s good for everyone to have a safe fun night and appreciate he was thinking of his fans safety . Will love to see the black keys again if I get the chance

Shannon and the Clams started the evening off with some interesting sounds. Reminiscent of 60s American pop but with a nice indie edge to the music. New and I teresting. I'll definitely follow their progress. Next up was Spoon, who I have followed for some time. It was great to see them play live for the first time. A cracking set filled with catchy hooks and power playing. Love them to bits still. They have gone up in my estimation, so much energy.
The Black Keys then took a nicely warmed up O2 arena and blew the roof off the place. The dirty guitar sounds and Dan and Patrick's playing were off the charts. The backing band added further textures and the evening was faultless. Incredible riffs and power drumming got the whole place jumping. The light show was great as well. Pretty much the perfect evening out.

Acerca De The Black Keys
The Black Keys are a two-man blues-rock group from Akron, Ohio, United States which formed in 2001, consisting of singer and guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney. The band name was inspired by a schizophrenic artist and friend in Akron, who used the term "black keys" to describe things he disliked or people he did not trust. The Black Keys have roots in traditional blues and psychedelic rock stylings.
