Four albums in (2024's BUG, 2021's Simple, Sweet, And Smiling, 2020's Is It Selfish If We Talk About Me Again, and 2017's Like A Woman), this new chapter is a culmination of reworking her songwriting process to create the project she’s strived to make over the course of her career. For this record, Hill honed in on strongly developing each song from its lyrics and melodies, compared to previous works where she’d build from production fragments or ideas.
