MICA began her music career with Timbaland Productions in New York, which landed her song "3000 Light Years" on Glee and Dance Moms. This led to her opening for Jennifer Lopez in her Dance Again World Tour (Manila leg), and then again for Chris Brown in 2015 at SM MOA Arena. Her debut album Dreamer released in 2015 includes Aliw Award winning single "Heart Song" and chart-topping "Tonight" featuring the Philippines' King of R&B, Jay R.



After navigating through the Philippine music industry, she ventured into mainstream showbiz and became a regular cast member of ABS-CBN's noontime show, It's Showtime! in 2016. Simultaneously, she trained intensively with Ivana Chubbuck, which honed her skills as an actress, landing her first movie role in Love Me Tomorrow (Star Cinema) with Piolo Pascual, Coleen Garcia, and Dawn Zulueta. The films under her belt include MMFF 2017 winner Siargao by Paul Soriano starring Jericho Rosales & Jasmine Curtis, and international film General Commander (Saradan Media 2019) starring alongside Steven Segal, where she is the only Filipina in the lead cast. She made a cameo in Empty By Design by Andrea Walter with Crazy Rich Asians' Chris Pang, and Dante Basco, which closed the 2019 Asian Pacific Film Festival in Los Angeles.



She debuted in her first musical theatre production with 9 Works Theatrical’s Eto Na! Musikal nAPO!, a rerun of the highly acclaimed original production which ran from February to April 2019, playing alongside Mark Bautista, Jobim Javier, Sab Jose and many others.



Her most notable role to date is lead anti-heroine, Lupita, in 2018-2019's hit ABS-CBN TV series, Los Bastardos, starring Jake Cuenca, Ronaldo Valdez, Jeffrey Santos, Josh Colet, and a full roster of highly acclaimed actors. She starred alongside Gerald Anderson in trending ABS-CBN TV series, Init Sa Magdamag in 2021. Coming soon is a film she stars in, Songs for Selina, a story about the dark side of the entertainment industry.

In 2021 Mica released her single "Love Is" her most-streamed original song to date. She continues to work on new music and hones her craft as an actress, with many future projects as an artist and businesswoman in the pipeline.
