Acerca De Arch Enemy

Arch Enemy
For decades, Arch Enemy has stood as a global powerhouse, synonymous with precision, brutality, and melodic perfection. As one of the most influential forces in metal, they have conquered stages worldwide and defined the very blueprint of modern melodic death metal. For this band, led by founder Michael Amott, standing still has never been an option—evolution is their only constant. The year 2026 marks the dawn of a monumental new era. Following the success of their Blood Dynasty cycle, Arch Enemy is stepping into a bold new chapter of their storied history. With the arrival of the formidable Lauren Hart as their new frontwoman, the band has transformed into a revitalized and more lethal version of itself. Lauren Hart brings a raw, unbridled energy and a commanding vocal ferocity that fuses perfectly with the band’s legendary twin-guitar assault. This transition is far more than a lineup change; it is a powerful rebirth. Arch Enemy is ready to reclaim the throne, proving that their darkest and most intense era is only just beginning.

The queue to get in went past the building and continued past where me and my friend stood. When we got inside it was allready impossible to get a good view, so instead we got our merch and beers. There were queues inside for the restrooms, for the bar, for merch, for wardrobe, and it was hard to tell where which queeue began. Right where we got in and close to the merch table was a giant inflatable Baphy.
When we were ready we tried both sides of the locale for the best available view and realised we couldn't see much past pillars and the walls of tall people. So while I can't speak about the visuals, was in no place for any personal interactions or souvenirs, and couldn't reach the pit. I definitely felt the energy of the first show in Sweden since Lauren joined, and it was f*****g amazing at a sold out intimate club venue.
When the lights went out Motörhead - Ace Of Spades went on from tape and a good chunk of the 700 people crowd sang along. Then the band came out to Tear Down The Walls and immediately into Silent Wars and the crowd was loud even before Lauren had taken her first note. A few songs in there was technical error and the band walked off stage for a bit, the crowd kept the fumes up cheering and clapping and chanting, when AE came back there were loud cheers from the crowd, Lauren said something I couldn't make out, Michael addressed the technical error, someone in the crowds said "We love you guys anyway", then Lauren said something about the first song Michael ever wrote for Arch Enemy - Lauren and I simultaneously screamed Bury Me A F*****g Angel and it went hard as f**k!
At some point during the set most of the 700 crowd chanted Lauren, Lauren, Lauren, Lauren between songs. There were minor differences in setlist from the first show of the tour and the Stockholm show and I don't recall the entire setlist and I'm not sure about the setlist order.
But my personal highlights and there were plenty were:
Tear Down The Walls
Silent Wars
Nemesis
Ravenous
No Gods, No Masters
Under Black Flags We March
Taking Back My Soul
War Eternal
Eagle Flies Alone
To The Last Breath
Blood Dynasty
Shadows & Dust
Dead Eyes See No Future
We Will Rise
The general atmosphere
Sharing it with my friend
Lauren Hart - she sounded even better live than I expected
Michael's tasty as f**k solos
Daniel's and Sharlee's tight rhytm section
Joey's and Michael's twin guitar harmonies
The band was hungry and the crowd was f*****g starving!
This was in my opinion the best Alissa era Arch Enemy material ever sounded live.

Gatecreeper opened the party with great energy and a crisp vocal, but unfortunately the sound wasn't that good where I was standing. Amorphis is no longer Death metal enough to belong in this lineup, but there were a handful of fans who enjoyed them, Eluveitie played out of tune and had too much clutter on stage and way too much playback. Arche Enemy played super tight, however it seemed that Alicia was weak and had something with her voice, so there were several times she went backstage and the rest of the band had to do cool solos to cover her. But otherwise a super cool concert.

Archenemy a killer set killer!
Huge parts of the crowd were singing along to Bark At The Moon and then when Set Flame To Night hit lets just say I'm glad I was wearing earplugs.
Alissa dedicated No Gods, No Masters to someone close to the stage and far put to the side named Melker. She called him Metal Melker.
Great energy and atmosphere, cool lightshow, and better sound then last time I saw them.
Personal highlights:
Ravenous
Blood Dynasty
War Eternal
Illuninate The Path
Sunset Over The Empire
No Gods, No Masters
Snow Bound
Nemesis
Setlist:
Bark At The Moon (Ozzy from tape aporximately the first 90 seconds)
Set Flame To The Night (from tape)
Deceiver, Deceiver
Ravenous
Dream Stealer
Blood Dynasty
War Eternal
My Apocalypse
Illuminate The Path
Liars & Thieves
The Eagle Flies Alone
First Day In Hell
Saturnine (from tape)
Sunset Over The Empire
No Gods, No Masters (dedicated to Metal Melker)
Avalanche
Encore:
Snow Bound
Nemesis
Fields Of Desolation (instrumental outro)
Enter The Machine (from tape)
Vox Stellarum (from tape)
