Old Scratch was a hip hop project, based in Southeastern Connecticut and in New York City, consisting of Stopheles (aka Bill Wrigley) on vocals and Belial (aka Seth Gordon) on beats, who made most of their recorded output available for free on the old mp3.com (and other music download sites) beginning in the late 90s. The duo has achieved some level of attention again after being included on various "nerdcore" compilations (even though neither is a nerd, per se, certainly not in the "rapping about C-64s" way).

Belial has moved back to his main body of work, an experimental musique concrete project recorded under his own name, at www.myspace.com/soundnotmusic. Stopheles can be reached via oldscratch@gmail.com or www.oldscratch.com, which currently leads to a Myspace page he administrates.
