MOONPOOL is a Heavy Shoegaze and Grunge act out of Denver, CO composed of singer guitarist Raymond Suny, drummer Steven Hartman and guitarist Izaiah Miller.

Formerly known as The Sickly Hecks, they began their musical journey in the vibrant house show scene of northern Colorado. Initially gaining notoriety for their unique take on garage rock and post-punk, the band quickly became a staple of the local underground music community.

They released their debut EP as moonpool “Nothing Sacred” on March 7th to great acclaim, receiving air time on Denver’s 93.3, a write up in Denver Westword, and features on numerous blogs and playlists. Characterized by synth soundscapes, pounding drums, blissed-out fuzz guitars, and catchy hooks, the EP showcases their maximalist approach while retaining their inherent pop sensibilities. It places them in the same conversation as shoegaze and grunge revivalists like Superheaven and Narrow Head, as well as more experimental synth-pop artists like Yeule and Porches.
