I Am Hologram

I Am Hologram is the solo project of Richard Nihil, a touring singer-songwriter making Psychedelic Folk with Dirtbag Poetry. The live show is usually Richard alone with an acoustic guitar, pedals, and songs that pull from folk, country grunge, alternative blues, and years spent playing wherever the road leads.

Since 2021, Richard has played more than 800 gigs while traveling through 47 states and logging more than 150,000 miles on the road. The songs are direct, sometimes dark, sometimes funny, and built for rooms where people are actually listening.
