Smart Mistake is a pop rock/alt rock band formed in Turin in 2010. The band currently consists of four members: Valentine (lead vocalist),Fox (guitarist),Alessio (bassist), Fra (drummer), they started performing very soon on many stages in Turin and then they came in England, on August 2013, debuting Queen- Approved Tour in the heart of UK . Their debut single "Time Trap" has been released the 15th January 2013, followed by another two songs: I Guess I’ll Go and Mr Mind Reader collected in their first demo called Run From Zombies . They won the Rockville contest, a third place on the Pagella Non Solo Rock's contest and won the special jury award so they played at one of the most famous music festival in Italy the Reset Festival 2013. They recently supported dance! no thanks (atl and ataris guest band in italy) The meaning of Smart Mistake is that every mistake we make always brings something positive in our lives, even in the worst periods. Gli Smart Mistake nascono a Torino nel 2010 quando Valentine decide di proporsi come cantante per iniziare un gruppo pop rock/alt rock. All’appello risponde il primo batterista della band ed in seguito, con l’entrata del bassista, amico di infanzia di Valentine, Alessio e di Ander alla chitarra danno il via al progetto. Con la formazione attuale, Valentine (Lead vocalist),Fox (chitarra e back vocals), Alessio (basso) e Fra (batteria), gli Smart Mistake cominciano prestissimo ad esibirsi in numerosi locali della scena musicale Torinese fino ad arrivare oltremanica, nell’ Agosto del 2013, esordendo nel cuore dell’Inghilterra con il Queen- Approved Tour che ha permesso loro di calcare tra i più rinomati palcoscenici di Londra. Il loro primo singolo "Time Trap" è uscito il 15 Gennaio 2013, seguito da due canzoni: I Guess I'll Go e Mr Mind Reader raccolte nella demo chiamata Run From Zombies. Tra i vari premi, la band può vantare la Terza Posizione, più il Premio Giuria dell'edizione di Pagella Non Solo Rock 2013 che ha permesso loro di esibirsi al Reset Festival del 2013. Il nome della band significa "Errore intelligente", ovvero un errore che in fondo porta a qualcosa di positivo, una sorta di buono auspicio anche durante i peggiori periodi della nostra vita.
