Will Brahm was born in Portland Oregon, where he was introduced to music at a very young age. He began playing the guitar at age 14, and quickly began finding new paths and genres to learn on his instrument. He attended California State Long Beach as a five-time K-JAZZ scholarship recipient, and earned his bachelor's degree in Jazz Guitar Performance. While studying at CSULB, he was mentored by legendary guitarist Ron Eschete. Ron introduced Will to the great American songbook and to composers like Cole Porter and George Gershwin.
