Dan Signor began playing piano at age 6. Dan grew up in a musical family in Upstate, New York. His late father Donald Signor, a professional guitarist/singer bestowed a deep and intrinsic musical adoration in Dan and his siblings which has been a driving force throughout his life. Dan moved to Florida and joined up with his soul-mate and beatmaster Jerry Escobedo (drums)to form the Dan Signor Project. DSP is a trio consisting of Dan(vocals/keys/guitar), Jerry (drums/slide whistles), and some other person, usually the kickass Jason O'Neill (Sax), or the all-knowing, all-mighty nomadic violinist of the universe, Kelly Halloran.
