Emily Lubitz

Emily Lubitz released her solo debut #1 Aria Aus Country album, Two Black Horses in 2025 to critical acclaim. While telling deeply personal stories about her family, history and growing older the record sounds like Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton and Phoebe Bridgers all going on holiday and talking about their feelings. Backed by her all-star band, Lubitz’s signature blend of lushly-arranged country music and soaring vocal harmony delivers a captivating live show. Formerly the frontwoman of indie-folk pioneers Tinpan Orange, Lubitz has collaborated and toured with the likes of Paul Kelly, Martha Wainwright, Mama Kin, and Justin Townes Earle. She is a veteran of the scene, yet she writes and performs with the energy of a breakthrough artist.
