Zimbabwean born, Londoner ESKA is female solo artist who is a creative force to be reckoned with; imagine the psyche soul of Minnie Riperton, unexpected, whimsical melodic twists of Kate Bush and ornate detail of folk legends Pentangle arranged in an intoxicating meld for the post-digital age, and you’re only getting close. ESKA has been compared to Joni Mitchell by the music press, but her sound is a unique and complex tapestry of folk, soul, and rock n ' roll that has to be heard to be believed.
