「アニソン界」を代表する実力派シンガーによって2000年に立ち上げられたスーパーユニット。
世界に誇る進歩した日本のアニメーションに見合う主題歌を作り歌っていきたいと、シンガー達自らが立ち上がり、集結。
アニメやゲームに付随した主題歌文化に磨きをかけていきたいという欲望をもってJAM Projectは「アニソン」というジャンルの中で独自の地位を築く。

現在では、メンバー自らが主題歌の「曲づくり」にも携わり、プロデューサーや監督達との打合せ、楽曲制作、ディレクションと「作品」=「主題歌」を目指して、常に制作者と表現者を兼ねて邁進している。
現在までに200曲以上を発表。メンバーは個人でも活躍する中、互いに刺激しあい、一人一人の豊かな個性が一つの名のもとに集うことで、JAM Projectならではのパワフルでスピリットあふれた「真の主題歌」を作り上げる。

2008年には、“No Border”というタイトルのもと初のワールドツアー(台北・サンパウロ・ボルチモア・ソウル・北京・上海・香港・メキシコシティ・パリ・バルセロナ)を世界10都市にて実行。
日本の本格的なアニソンライブを世界中に届けるべく、2012年にはバンドを引き連れ、南米ツアー(ブラジル・ペルー・アルゼンチン・チリ)を行うなど、アニソン界最強のユニットが日本だけではなく世界に向けて「パワフル」で「ハイクオリティ」な歌を届けてきた。

老若男女を問わず幅広い年齢層の支持を持ち続け、結成20周年をむかえた2020年、新型コロナウイルス感染の拡大により、予定していた全国ツアーの全公演中止を余儀なくされる。
しかしながらアニソン界を牽引する同志らと共にオンラインアニソンフェス“20th Anniversary Special JAM FES.”を開催。
2021年2月、キャリア初のドキュメンタリー映画「GET OVER -JAM Project THE MOVIE-」を全国公開。
コロナ禍においてもその存在感をもってアニソン界に勇気を与えた。

アニメの主人公と同じく、彼らのボーカルパフォーマンスは、常に「夢」の実現を目指している。

The group was founded in 2000 and launched as a Super Unit that represents the "anisong industry."
The singers who wish to compose and perform theme songs, befitting the quality of Japanese anime that has evolved to be loved all over the world, came together and formed the group themselves. With their strong desire to bring the theme songs of anime and game culture to a higher level, they have established for themselves a unique position in the genre of "anisong."
Currently, while the members are personally involved in the process of creating theme songs, which includes meeting with producers and directors, songwriting, and directing, as both creators and performers, they always strive to make "pieces of work" through "theme songs."
They have released over 200 songs over their career. While the members are also active individually, they greatly inspire each other, and the rich individuality of each member comes together under one name to create powerful and spirit-filled "true" theme songs that are unique to the group.
In 2008, the group embarked on its first world tour titled No Border and performed in 10 cities around the world: Taipei, Sao Paulo, Baltimore, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Mexico City, Paris, and Barcelona. Believing that Japan's authentic anisong live performance must be experienced by the world, in 2012, the greatest unit of the anisong industry took a live band with them and went on a tour in South America (Brazil, Peru, Argentina, and Chile) and delivered "powerful" and "high quality" songs. While they continued to receive support from a wide variety of fans, both young and old, they were forced to cancel their 20th-anniversary tour in Japan due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
However, they held an online anisong festival, the 20th Anniversary Special JAM FES, together with other influential anisong artists.
In February 2021, they released the first-ever documentary film of their career, GET OVER -JAM Project THE MOVIE- in Japan. They made their presence felt even during the COVID-19 pandemic and encouraged the anisong industry. Hoping for recovery from the pandemic and the world's situation, they released their ultimate concept EP, THE JUDGMENT. To celebrate their 25th anniversary in 2025, the group will release their 15th greatest hits album as part of the JAM Project 25th Anniversary Project. In November, they will hold the JAM Project 25th Anniversary Live FINAL COUNTDOWN in Osaka and Yokohama.
"Anisong" transcends numerous boundaries, such as national borders and musical genres. JAM Project's vocal performances, like the protagonist of an anime, will always aim to turn "dreams" into reality.
