Born and raised in South Texas, Abraham made his way to Austin, Texas after a run in the South and East Texas music circuits. Abraham played honky tonks, dance halls, tailgates, and anywhere he could be heard. Early in his career Abraham had the opportunity of opening for some of the top 90’s acts such as Perfect Stranger, Eddy Raven, Tracy Lawrence, Johnny Rodriguez, Hank Williams III, Hal Ketchum, Ty Herndon, Doug Supernaw, Daryle Singletary, Rhett Akins, Kenny Chesney, Rick Trevino and many others. Abraham was the lead vocalist for two different house bands in the lower Rio Grande Valley area for several years before taking his talents to Austin and the Central Texas area. In 2010, he took his music to the Northeast part of the U.S., to Bangor, PA, as well as countless venues throughout the “Lehigh Valley” in Pennsylvania, only to return back to his home, Austin, in 2014 to continue the pursuit of his career in what has been dubbed the “Live Music Capital of the World.”

Abraham’s vocal styles and influences come from a wide range of artists from country through the 80’s rock genres, but two artists — Garth Brooks and Rick Orozco — would give him what he needed to create his very own vocal style. It was the Spring of 1990 when the song “The Dance” by Garth Brooks played on the radio. It was this song that solidified his passion for country music. Shortly thereafter, he heard a voice in a song that would change his life, “Buscando Una Estrella” by singer/song writer Rick Orozco. “Never had I heard such emotion that could bring me to tears!” Abraham recalls. “I wanted to make people laugh, to make them angry, to bring people to tears and most importantly, make them get up and dance. Rick was a pivotal change in my musical outlook. He taught me how to feel and convey the words through my heart, taking a song and placing myself in the song, becoming the song”. And so his journey began.

Over the past year moving back to Austin, Abraham has made his mark on the industry by becoming one of the area’s most sought out musicians. Abraham has become a regular on Austin’s famous 6th Street in addition to performing at events and venues of all sizes throughout Central Texas.
