Acerca De Mondays Alibi

Mondays Alibi entered the music scene in December of 2007 with haste. After being a band for only a few weeks, they found themselves cutting an EP with producer/engineer Joe Marlett (Switchfoot, Foo Fighters, Reliant K, Queens of the Stone Age) and mastering the tracks with Gavin Lurssen (Sheryl Crow, Matchbox Twenty). Shortly after, the band found themselves playing live television performances, interviewing on the radio, and making their first appearance on the Vans Warped Tour 2008. In addition to Mondays Alibi’s quick start, the band was able to release their first music video for the song “2 More Hours” featuring Shauvon Torres (MTVs Real World, MTV Ruins) and Jayson Summers (aka DJ Summers) which became a YouTube hit. In early 2009, Mondays Alibi began recording their first full length album entitled “Departure.” In between studio sessions, the band filled their schedules with performances at San Diego Venues including: The House of Blues, Soma, Canes Bar and Grill, The Casbah, The Epicenter, Brick By Brick, Dream Street, Humphrey's by the Bay, and many more. In addition, the band became featured articles in “The List Magazine” and “Rivera Magazine” along with a string of Playboy event performances. During the summer of 2009, the band hit the road for the “Off With The King! Tour” through California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, and Nevada where they began to venture out and promote the release of their record. On return to their hometown, the band released their full length album “Departure” in November of 2009. Despite a handful of member changes following their album release, Mondays Alibi has now solidified the group, refined their new sound and are confident that they will walk amongst the elite rock bands of this era. Their much anticipated album is underway and will be released in the summer of 2012. "The heavy work ethic made apparent by the band’s tour schedule is ever present–the production on the whole is picture perfect"-Sasha Orman, The List Magazine
