Diana Gameros is a singer, guitarist, pianist, and composer, as well as a lead teaching artist with the Lullaby Project and a core member of the Immigrant Orchestra. Born and raised in Juárez, México, she immigrated to the United States as a teenager, carrying with her a deep love for music and the stories of her homeland.

Over the past decade in the Bay Area, she has released three albums weaving original songs in Spanish and English with heartfelt interpretations of Mexican classics; has been recognized multiple times by NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest; and was the subject of a KQED documentary film in 2020.

Her music — intimate, luminous, and rooted in stories of family, migration, and home — has led her to share the stage with celebrated artists such as Joan Baez, Natalia Lafourcade, and the San Francisco Symphony. In 2023, Diana received the Gerbode Foundation Music Award Grant to record her most recent album, Volver a la Luz.
