Acerca De Stina

STINA is a London based singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a distinctive folk/pop sound. The title track from her debut EP 'Call the Guard' and her charity single 'It's Our Time', have been played as BBC Introducing selections across BBC Radio as well as featuring as track of the week on BBC Three Counties Radio. Her sound is likened to a diverse mix of Damien Rice, Mumford & Sons, Lily Allen and Kate Bush; with her haunting arrangements, folky melodies, quirky lyrics and rich floating vocal. Stina's classical training and background is evident in this delivery and vibe, bringing something fresh and exciting to a blend of lyrical ballad and quirky new age folk. She has recently put out a demo titled 'Creature Creature', which ventures towards a more commercial sound. The classical and folk influences remain but fuse with something more electronic in a Clean Bandit-esque way. She is keen to collaborate on this record to re-release. Stina studied cello at the Royal College of Music before completing a Masters in Performance at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, specialising in Musical Theatre. Dubbed as a septuple threat, Stina is also a composer/arranger, writer, dancer and actor in addition to being a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist/musician. She features as Stina Hart (Portland Cloud Orchestra) in Guitar Hero Live video game. Actress // Singer // Songwriter // Multi-instrumentalist
