Once upon a time, you’d find Mohlkert channelling all her energy and pain in Swedish band Tantrum to Blind – a punk-pop outfit who found themselves thrust into the limelight of touring, MTV, and the rest – and now, she’s doing her own thing, having learned a thing or two along the way. The spirit of rock is still there, but this time, married with future R&B, trap, and the history of all that sophisticated Scandinavian pop which moves through every great artist from that neck of the woods. Mohlkert has found her voice, and life, love, and loss didn’t make her give up, but rather, find a new determination to make something new – something strong. She won’t quit, and neither does her music.
