Such a wonderful show! Would love to see her and her amazing band again.. I took my mom and if my dad was still alive, would have taken him too. We loved it.

Loved last night concert at the Emerson Colonial Theatre. The quartet format allowed everyone in the band to display their considerable jazz chops. Diana on piano & vocals, Anthony Wilson on guitar (loved those riffs on the Monteleone), Robert Hurst on bass, and Karriem Riggins on drums. The Colonial itself, with its gorgeous art deco interior, was the perfect venue. A great concert!

If you just want to hear Diana Krall sing, then buy every one of her albums. If you want to hear the Diana Krall Jazz Quartet where everyone in the combo takes turns doing improv solos, then by all means go to her concert. Her singing seemed off, not very confident. She missed words and phrases. Was it just artistic license?? Unlike 3-4 years ago she barely talked and did not profess her undying love for husband Declan McManus (alias Elvis Costello). She seemed to be under some duress and I don't think it was just feeling sad about her friend Tony Bennett (she mentioned visiting him). Was it just being off-stage for two years? I really hope she's alright. However her piano playing was TOP NOTCH as were all the guitar and bass solos. Perhaps she just loves playing more than singing? I don't know, she won't return my calls. (Joking) The Kimmel organization, unlike other venues, still has a STRICT mask policy.

Great place to see a concert, parking was easy. My wife and I have seen Diana twice before this show at Count Basie in Red Bank and both shows were great. This one had a lot of slow songs and never really seemed to get going. Her skill on the piano is excellent but wasn’t really showcased, a lot of guitar solos. Still a good show but not up to par with the previous two we attended. Just an opinion.

Diana Krall is amazing! We have attended every one of her Buffalo concerts. Her band is superb and it is just such a pleasure to see and hear them all perform. Come back soon!!

I've seen Diana Krall in concert twice before - last time was June 2017 - and this was a very different show. I wished I would have looked at reviews from back in 2018. Unfortunately, my experience was very consistent with those reviews; it's concerning to say the least.

Diana and her superb band played a show that quite literally included laughter and tears. "If I'm pausing a lot, I'm just overcome. I'm so happy. This is the first time that we have played on a live stage since November 2018." Diana's smoky voice was in perfect form; I always marvel at how she can belt it out and then bring it down to a whisper (all while being on perfect pitch). She also does the same thing on piano- at times she hits the keys with joyful exuberance and energy, and then she so lightly strokes the keys that they barely make a sound (a feat that is difficult to achieve- try it!). The entire concert is performed without having to look at music. Since this was the first performance on her American tour, she admittedly forgot a few of the song lyrics- giggling and laughing into the microphone (continuing to play the songs) and saying to the audience "well, you know the words, we'll play the music." This was the first concert I had seen since 2019 and it was an emotional experience- to be in a collective group that loves the same music, feeling the energy of the crowd, feeding off of the superb quality of the artists on stage. Thank you Diana for waking us up from the pandemic and giving us a ray of hope.

Awesome concert in a fantastic venue! Not only is she a wonderful performer, her wit keeps you engaged as well.

Amazing concert. 1st time seeing her live. More jamming than song after song..... which I loved anyway. A beautiful setting as well, quite a theatre in Bellingham!!!

Thought it was a great show, a bit more jazzy than what I had experienced previously, maybe as result of having a sax in the band instead of Anthony’s guitar. Venue was very nice, as were the acoustics. Unfortunately lasted only 1 hour 15 minutes due to the festival setting

The show was amazing. A great selection of songs, fantastic band, and her voice is as smooth as silk. I hope she tours again soon!

The audience appreciated the quintet's inventive and emotional presentation of jazz standards and several original compositions. Kudos to Stuart Duncan who showed another side of his fiddle virtuosity.

Great show but would have been a lot better if the person sitting next to me hadn't been recording it on her phone the entire time. Security didn't ask her to stop until the last song. Opera House staff need to. be more vigilant.
