Melbourne Rockers Lieutenant Jam compile a mixture of genres ranging from the punk origins of NOFX, The Clash to the grunge tones of Nirvana and lyrics styles of The Libertines and Arctic Monkeys. All the members are composers, each with unique skill's and style. Anthony Ross, dynamic and explosive on lead vocals, jazz turned rock guitarist Joel Melbourne, metal experimental drummer Fernando Castaneda and James Collingridge keeping it fresh on the bass. The guys smash it up on stage, launching into odd obscenity while reaching out with refreshing extreme and distorted soundwaves. Lt Jam played has over 100 shows since 2012, performing at Glastonbury 2013, St.Kilda Festival 2014, Sydney Rd St Festival 2014, Melbourne Fringe Festival 2014 and Darebin Music Feast in 2012, with national and international success touring of Hobart, Adelaide and the UK. With their experience and passion for local music Lt. Jam created 6 renegade music festivals entitled 'House Party on Wheels' over 2 years with 25-45 bands playing at each. Lt. Jam is proud to have assisted in the creation of House Party on Wheels Festival which now runs with over 40 bands performing at live venues. They continue to play in Melbourne at establishments such as The Espy, Cherry Bar, The Evelyn, Ding Dong Lounge, The Vineyard, Revolver, The Workers Club, 303, Pony, The Toff, The Tote, The Brunswick Hotel and The Reverence Hotel.
