TANG is a dual female fronted hard rock/alternative metal power trio from NY. Bonnie Parker on Vox & Bass and Denny Colt on Vox, Lead Guitar & Keyboards, have been trading phrases back and forth in their own ripping style since 1999. And on drums, TANG welcomes the kick ass, mind blowing power of Hillary Blaze. Hillary, along with Britt Lightening, was a co-founding member of the original hard rock band Jaded from Boston. Britt went on to join Vixen and Hillary then joined NYC based Judas Priestess- the only all female tribute to Judas Priest.
TANG has toured Europe, Canada and the U.S. opening shows for such artists as Crucified Barbara, Girlschool, W.A.S.P., Dokken, Hammerfall, Helloween, Dee Snider, Symphony X and many other cool bands. Denny played guitar, toured & recorded in Dee Snider’s “Van Helsing’s Curse,” the gothic rock orchestra. Bonnie & Denny have currently played, toured & recorded, with Corky Laing from Mountain in his new band “Corky Laing & The Memory Thieves.” They also worked with Corky in Finland, writing, recording & performing in a rock opera called “Playing God” which was performed in Helsinki in 2014, 2016, 2018 and the US in 2015. TANG is featured in the new Fred Carpenter film, “Charlie Mantle,” performing their song “Crashing.” The film debuted in the summer of 2016 and stars Armand Assante, Sean Young and Robert Funaro. Bonnie was recently honored at The Long Island Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame for her previous band, “The Bonnie Parker Band,” and her groundbreaking work for females in rock.
After two tours of Scandinavia to support the release of “MENTAL POLLUTION” on Raw Power UK Records, TANG has finished their new cd “BLOOD & SAND” and features Dee Snider from Twisted Sister on a duet with Bonnie on the song ''Reign of Blood''.
TANG is currently in the studio working on their new EP to be released in 2024 and preparing to hit the road with some killer shows!
