It was my first SCC concert. I loved the way he is a story teller. He had the audience singing along. I wish there were sections of the concert where they used the TV's to show him on the stage. Since there were no raised seating... I had tall people in front of me and could not see the stage and was sitting towards the back. I was slightly confused by the charity. I thought on line they were saying a portion of the tickets were helping those who had been sexually trafficked. That was never mentioned during the concert .. SCC only mentioned his own personal charity to help those trying to adopt. I wish there had been some ushers to tell the people around me who were playing games on their phones to shut them down. I had no idea there was food or drink there till I was leaving. It was a great experience.

The artist was fantastic.. The venue needs a little assistance. There needs to be a handicapped area that staff can help get in building. There were so many reserved seats in the auditorium it was unreal. People were breaking in line the entire time while waiting for doors to open.. This was a Christian concert at a church. Just very dissatisfied with venue. Loved the artist and will see him again somewhere else. The price was good, but would rather pay more to have more control..

I brought my son to see Steven Curtis Chapman for the first time. SCC was my first concert when I was younger so it was really special for him to also be my son’s first concert. SCC does a wonderful job of sharing his personal stories and testimony through songs and speaking. I’ve seen him in concert many times and I’ve loved every time.

It was a very good concert. Sat on the floor this time and sound was good. Saw him in this same venue last year and sound was horrible. Steven would say things and look for a reaction from the crowd. He got none, as we couldn’t hear or understand what he said. I was sitting in the balcony, but I heard similar comments from others seated on the floor.

Steven Curtis Chapman concerts are always memorable, but as a Christian I was bothered by one of his blue grass performers asking him on stage how many number one songs he'd had, "Fifty?", he asked. It seemed contrived and as Christians we are never to seek glory for ourselves; rather we are to seek glory and honor for Jesus. As the apostle Paul said, "But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world" (Galatians 6:14). That's why I never vote for favorite Christian artists when I receive yearly emails requesting my vote. Paul also wrote in Galatians 1:10, "For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were trying to please man I wouldn't be a servant of Christ" (Galatians 1:10).

Amazing and encouraging concert by SCC. He is so kind and willing to be so honest about his life/family/walk with The Lord. He is so incredibly talented and personable. Best concert I have ever been to (and I have been to many). The venue was very good and more intimate. Chic fila at concessions! What could be better?!

Steven Curtis Chapman put on an outstanding show. His music and lyrics brought your heart into the meaning behind his lyrics. He was very personable and with the meet and greet before the show, I was humbled at his personable way he just spoke with each and every person he met. Truly an inspirational concert. The opening act was a trio, Cousin Curtis and The Possum Trotters, had outstanding harmony and just a fun and authentic way of playing music with multiple instruments and vocals!

Once again Steven Curtis Chapman was amazing. The concert sounded great and he played most of my favorites. He would have to play for many hours to get them all in! Thank you for brings Steven Curtis Chapman to Brainerd. We have seen him 6 or 7 times and this was the closest he has ever been to where we live.

Steven always makes it a personal connection no matter the setting or size of the crowd. As he said we don’t know each other personally but yet we do as we’ve been connected through his songs, his music, and his family’s journey and missions. I was very moved by many of his songs to reflect on God’s goodness in our lives and the great hope we have beyond this life. Steven is my favorite song writer and musician/artist of all time because his songs connect to my heart and the Spirit that God has placed within me. Wonderful way to start our Christmas celebration season of thankfulness and Great Joy.

We have seen Steven Curtis Chapman before and he never disappoints. This concert was a much more personal performance, and he made sure everyone there felt appreciated and special for sharing the evening with him. My only complaint was in the manner in which the admission was done by the moving barcode to allow entry through Ticketmaster. This makes the performance available only to people with smart phones that support that. There should have been a means to print out a barcode to allow entry if you came from a distance and didn't have coverage, or your phone does not support this moving barcode. I will definitely see Steven again, but not at this venue under this type of admission.

Our evening with Steven Curtis Chapman was 100% wonderful! His music is timeless and his guitar playing absolutely amazing! It was just he and a guitar but the phenomenal sound and music that he created that night completely filled the room and our hearts to overflowing! What a gem he is! There is no other artist quite like him ….so very talented and gifted yet genuine, humble and obviously anointed by God to move people closer to Him!

He was awesome, my son and I greatly enjoyed the show and will see him again. My only complaint is with the venue, if you are taller than 5’5” or so the seating is very uncomfortable. The hall is old and the seat rows are very close together. No matter how I sat my knees where rubbing against the seat in front of me, second half of the show I just stood behind my seat, thankfully we were last row so no one was behind us.

Amazing show that incited so many nostalgic feelings. Steven Curtis Chapman is easily one of my favorite Contemporary Christian artists of all time and this show proved even further how fantastic of an artist, loving husband and man of God that he truly is. Two times I honestly teared up listing to the meanings and stories behind his music and what it was promising. It may seem a little cliche nowadays, but I give the show 100/10, fantastic and I would be more than willing to see it again!

I wanted to give this 5 stars: for some reason the app will only allow me to give 4 1/2. I have seen Steven in concert many, many times in the past 31 years, and he never disappoints. After 51 number one songs, he still writes fresh, relevant music, and he connects with the audience better than any artist I know.-Steven was in great voice last night, and being front row center, I was able to really appreciate his talent on the guitar. I feel like a broken record (no pun intended) with the superlatives, but all I can say in the end is..:don’t miss this tour!

I was thrilled to be able to see SCC again. 15 yrs. ago, just after his sweet child went to be with the Lord, I was privileged to be at one of his first concerts back. He touched my heart with his words then and again, last night in Arlington. I have loved and followed his for so many years, he feels like a lifelong friend. I am so glad my husband saw your upcoming concert and made it one of the best Christmas gifts I have ever received. thank you for sharing your heart and your words with us. May God bless you as your continue your tour and may your words inspire and touch others as you go. God Bless and keep writing about His Endless love for us.

We really enjoyed this night with Steven Curtis Chapman. The show was about 2 hours and he was so upbeat and energetic, yet warm and sincere and treated his audience like family. The house was packed and you could feel the love for Steven and his love for us. He played all the great songs that He is known for and he was so genuine in his love for Jesus. There was about a 20 minute or more intermission/infomercial but it was for a good cause. Him and his wife have a ministry called Showhope which is much like Compassion International that you can help in sponsoring an impoverished child or adopting an orphan. Overall, it was a great show and thank you Steven!

He is not just a great singer songwriter but also a great entertainer. I am really impressed with his including others IN his show. Making it about all of them and not just “opening act.” I realize it was his daughter in law but also his co-writer. He is blessed by God with amazing talent and he is a shining example of recognizing God’s gift. I enjoyed every minute of the show.

SCC delivered another awesome concert at one of the most beautiful outdoor venues I've ever been. Sound quality was excellent. Only wish he had more time on stage, but he packed a lot into the time he had on this double billing with Amy Grant. SCC is the real deal. I've attended many of his concerts over the past 25 years and he always delivers words and songs from the heart. Awesome man, with an awesome family and humble follower of our amazing God and Saviour! Simply a must see for anyone looking for an uplifting night filled with great music, amazing guitar playing and being able to leave with a smile on your face and more hope for our world.

A wonderful evening of memories, laughter, some tears, and story-telling through music. I felt uplifted by the shared experience, learning more of SCC's life story, and singing along with some favorite songs (and a couple that I didn't know). I highly recommend this concert to any and all fans of Steven Curtis Chapman, of Christian music in general, anyone seeking spiritual answers.

I've seen Steven alot over the year's. He always performs a Great Show and will touch your life and heart. This has to be one of my favorite shows of his.
