Formed in 2011, Essential Groove is a “Pop/Rock n Roll” band based out of Cleveland Ohio. The bands genre is hard to define though; depending on the tune, there are a lot of Jazz, Funk, and good old rock and roll roots. All of the band members grew up in/near Cleveland and have been making music since! Essential Groove's mission is to create and play beautiful music for people to enjoy. Being that a variety of people from different genres play a part in influencing the band, (including Dave Mathews Band, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, The Beatles, Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, and Earth Wind and Fire… As well as many other contemporary artists) Essential Groove spends a lot of time creating new music for their fans and others to enjoy.
