Rodrigo y Gabriela

Rodrigo y Gabriela were phabulous. Minimal stage set. The focus was on their music. High energy and the typical excellent guitar work. However, I wasn't thrilled with the venue. There is no slope to the floor resulting in limited views for the audience. I'm 6'-2" yet I had a tall person sitting in front of me so I always had to lean from side to side to get a view. Short people had less view. The people in back had very limited view. Ironically the people back in the balcony had a better view than I had. I'm looking forward to seeing Rodrigo y Gabriela again, but hoping they don't return to Marquee Theater. I will hesitate to go to any concert at that facility.

wow first time at REd Rocks. what a wonderful venue (best to arrive early as the parking is a bit removed from the theater and the altitude will leave you breathless. that said Rodrigo and Gabriela were in fine form and stage was excellent. storms blew in but didn't quench the crowds enthusiasm! hope to return soon. ummm don't plan on eating in Morrison (too expensive for common fare and wait times) take a picnic basket etc.....

The first half: NOT the R&G we fell in love with when they opened for Muse at Wembley Stadium in 2007, and saw in Seattle in 2017. Gabriela played her usual soulful flamenco guitar, while Rodrigo tried to become a prog-rock guitar hero on electric 6-string, with an over-amplified, pre-recorded backing track turning the sound quality to mush. Second half: YES! The R&G we love, playing 2 acoustic guitars and amazing the audience with their talent! So 3 stars for making us wait through sub-par music for the REAL R&G amazing us all on acoustic guitars.

This was one of the most memorable concerts I have ever been to. I love R and G, and I love their music, so when they came off the stage and played in the crowd everyone just went nuts and the energy was off the charts! They always deliver a great time, and they didn’t disappoint. Cant wait to see them again.

This was a phenomenal show! High energy from start to finish, starting with the bubbly Afro-Cuban duo, Okan! R y G commanded the stage playing several selections from their recent recording: Between thoughts…A New World. They really brought us to our feet when they revisited earlier hits including Diablo rojo, Tamacun and Hanuman—-for these they left the stage and joined the audience! So Cool! Lighting was creative, R y G’s affection for their fans is apparent and they looked like they were having fun every minute (as we’re we!). All together a fantastic performance—and, as older fans, we did not leave the venue with ringing ears! It was just the right amount of loud! Thank You!

Oh my gosh, what an amazing experience! I’m embarrassed to admit, I did not know of them until I was at the concert last night, but wow, I was blown away ! I will definitely keep an eye on their schedule in the future and if they are anywhere near where I’m gonna be, I’m getting !

It was fantastic! I had the pleasure of sitting in the third row, third seat from the stage, so my view was perfect. This was my second time seeing Rod y Gab and my experience was everything I expected. They played some wonderful new songs and even a few older hits. I even shouted out “Stairway to Heaven” and Rod heard my request; I was indulged— incredible! Thank you, thank you for sharing this wonderful experience!

Brand new venue, really clean and the seating is high quality in Orchestra. It is steeper than old movie theatre seating so the 6th row is eyelevel with the performers. You are closer to the stage as there is no pit area per se. The performance felt really close and I like the performers alot. They came to the stage edge and I was close to them , Like 20ft. The new music was great and a few old favorites were in the set list. So they did 6 encores of old favorite acoustic work and were in touching distance as they like to do. No fist bumps this time but great music and encore.

Rodrigo y Gabriela were amazing, 2nd time we have seen them in under 1 year. This was our 1st time at the new Nashua Center for the Arts and unfortunately the acoustics were just awful. Very boomy bass. Don't think we will go back here for any live shows sorry to say.

Was a great concert and the smaller venue made for a more intimate connection. The music was great - about half was new stuff followed by a medley of all the older favorites. Opening act Okan was entertaining/fun. Highly recommend catching them when they are in town

Fue uno de los mejores conciertos a los que he asistido, a parte de que la ecualización estuvo muy bien hecha (volumen fuerte y claro, sin saturación ni ruidos excesivamente duros) Rod y Gab son excelentes guitarristas, profesionales, suenan mejor que en sus discos, ponen mucha pasión y energía en sus actos, platicaron con el público y lo mejor, tocaron enmedio de toda la multitud lo cual fue una locura, gracias por tanto!// It was one of the best concerts I've ever attended, besides the EQ which was excellent (strong and clear volume, no saturation or excessively loud sound) Rod&Gab are excellent guitarists, professionals, they sound better than their records, they put so much passion and energy into their acts, they chatted with the crowd and the best, played in the middle of the multitude which was crazy, thank you for everything!

Excellent show. Rodrigo was amazing on his electric set. The duo played moist of their new album which was great . We had the meet and greet package and Rodrigo and Gabriela were very humble and gracious. One of the best shows I’ve seen in a while. Thanks Rodrigo and Gabriela for a great show and for your friendly and warm greeting afterwards. I would definitely recommend seeing them!

Rodrigo and Gabriella a fantastic show! We saw them 2013 at electric factory- awesome. Love love this duo 💕. If you’re on the fence jump high because they will rock your socks off 💕 The venue was gorgeous beautiful garden and wonderful for the them to play at. Fantastic fantastic- 💕💕💗😎🤩

The show was a surprise. I usually wear earplugs at concerts, but I figured I wouldn't need them for two acoustic guitars. Boy was I wrong. Gabriela's guitar was miked and amped up past where my ears could hear clearly. And Rodrigo had an electric guitar most of the time. And the number of speakers was like I've seen in stadiums. But this was a small theater. I went with it, though, and held my ears when it got really loud. My ears are still ringing 6 days later. The show was also a surprise in that they had a lot of visuals. Lots of strobing lights and cool visual effects on two screens on the stage. At times it felt like too much. But again, I went with the experience, trusting the artists on the journey they set up. It was a great show, full of energy and presence. Great musical artistry. I loved it. The biggest detractor for me was that the bill said the show started at 8. We had a babysitter watching our kids. We promised we be home by 10:30 since that would give us 2.5 hours. But there was an opening act (not on the bill) for 30 minutes (unnamed singer with guitar). Then 30 minutes more of nothing. So the show didn't even start until 9. We had to ask the babysitter if she could stay longer. All we ask is that we know what to expect because it's not easy to have someone watch the kids. It also felt a little insulting to wait an extra hour for the show to start. I've never seen it before where there is so much time between an opening act and the main show. Usually it's 5-10 minutes. This was 30+. Other than that, I was happy to be there. A great band with a cool vibe. Rock on!

I love the new stage background and light show and how they worked all of that into their set. Also, the camera on their guitars was another intriguing new item. Great music! Gabriela is the real attraction to this duo. She is absolutely amazing musician.

I have wanted to see these two for years, and was so excited and they did not disappoint. Really amazing show - loved the guitar cams so you could see their fingers on the guitar. Loved their energy and the extra half hour encore. They played from their new album and favorites from previous albums. Thank you for an amazing show!
