Munny

Munny is a genre-bending alt-pop artist
based out of Los Angeles, California. Her
haunting voice and raw lyrics flow beautifully over
Michael “Fish” Herring’s playful production,
creating an eerie dichotomy of uplifting rock beats
and somber tales of heartbreak.
Munny began making music in 2015 as one third
of the indie-electronic band, Kylaido. The group
made waves with their first single “Ebb + Flow”
when it was featured in a Facebook video,
accumulating over 100 million views. This
unexpected success inspired Munny to develop
her unique style of singing and songwriting
independently. When she met Herring, in 2017 the
duo clicked immediately over their shared love of
soulful pop and exaggerated aesthetics ; Munny
was born.
