Undergroove Music co-founder Juan Carlos Navarro from Mexico City has a musical career that spans almost two decades and advanced studies in audio design and engineering. While playing in several bands in the mid-nineties, he started to discover his passion for electronic music, finally deciding to focus on it a few years later. A turning point in Navarro’s life was creating Ecliptic and Lunar Sound with Raúl Mejía. Ecliptic’s progressive psy, Lunar Sound’s beautiful dub-infused downtempo and the ‘Ruls and Navarro’ powerful sets have taken him to stages all over the world. His music is a fresh blend of techno with a solid and impeccable progressive drive as a solo project as well as in artistic collaborations. From North to South America, including Europe, Asia, Australia and more, Navarro’s musical expertise is undeniable. His presence in festivals like Rainbow Serpent and Maitreya (Australia), Boom Festival (Portugal), Strawberry Music (China), Shambhala Music Festival (Canada), Glade Festival (England), and more that top the list of the most important electronic festivals in the world, are proof of his talent and relevance.
