five stack height

Five Stack Height is an alternative rock band from Assam, India, built on years of friendship, DIY shows, and a love for loud, honest music. Formed by musicians who grew up playing together, the band came into existence in November 2025 after a backyard gig brought them together.

Inspired by modern rock subgenres like shoegaze and alt-rock, their sound blends emotional guitars, vulnerability, and the raw energy of a live room. Their music explores heartbreak, mental unrest, growing up, and the pressures of navigating the world around them.

Five Stack Height consists of Felina on vocals, Kalyan “Kaju” on drums, Abhilekh on bass, and Srinjoy and Monjit on guitars.

Their latest single, “Long Legs” delves into body dysmorphia, self-image, and the insecurities that can take root from constantly being told how we should look. The song confronts the pressure to fit an ideal of beauty while questioning why we learn to measure ourselves against it in the first place.
With “Long Legs” Five Stack Height continues to build a sound rooted in honesty, community, catharsis, and making noise that means something.
