Formed in San Diego, Monarch is a psychedelic rock band known for dynamic live performances, rich synth textures, and a melodic, harmony-driven sound. Drawing from classic and modern psych, space rock, and progressive influences, the band has released two full-length albums — Two Isles (2016) and Beyond the Blue Sky (2019) — and has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe. Monarch is currently preparing their third studio album, set for release on PFR Records, which further expands their sound with deeper synth layers and more refined, dynamic arrangements. Ahead of the release, the band is returning to the stage in summer 2026 with a selective run of live shows.
