Amé is a French-American queer artist singing about the ordinary and the unusual. Intertwining the political and the deeply personal with tender yet piercing lyrics, in both French and English. Using vocals as raw material - at times melodic, textural, and percussive - their pixie-pirate alt-pop explores themes of grief, edges and metamorphosis, somewhere between Adrienne Lenker and Christine and the Queens.
