Break Right

Break Right is a Brooklyn-born project formed in 2025 by Jake Tarlov and Joey Haines, coming out of a jaded corner of the indie rock scene with a desire to make something louder, looser, and actually fun again. Self-produced in a bedroom studio, they built a collection of songs rooted in the alt-rock and emo they grew up on. After finishing their record with mastering from Adam Cichocki (Koyo, ipromisedtheworld, Souldblind), they recruited additional members to round out a five-piece lineup.

Anchored by Jake’s brutally honest and darkly funny lyricism, the band leans into chaos and charm in equal measure. With a debut record slated for 2026, Break Right is focused on bringing that same unfiltered energy to high-impact live shows.
