Boah! Das Manicørekonzert war wieder so großartig. Ich konnte in der ersten Reihe stehen. Ich konnte es kaum glauben, denn es waren so viele Leute in der Location. Ich wusste gar nicht, ob ich überhaupt einen Platz ganz vorne bekommen würde, aber ich habe mich seitlich vorbeigeschlichen und es trotzdem geschafft. Der Sound war einfach so gut und die Band hat unglaublich gut zusammengearbeitet. Ich war komplett überwältigt. Besonders im ersten Song sind die beiden Gitarristen von links nach rechts über die Bühne gelaufen! Das war einfach pure Performance!! Es war ein sehr schöner Abend, und ich war glücklich, dabei zu sein. Ich wünschte, der Drummer würde irgendwann ohne Sonnenbrille drummen, weil ich würde wirklich gern sehen, wer sich hinter der Maske verbirgt.

I saw MANICØRE live again last Saturday at a band contest. It was a very fun evening because I enjoy discovering new bands while also experiencing one of my favorite bands. What I noticed immediately was that both the singer and the screamer seemed more confident in their roles. Their voices have improved, and this led to many people in the audience cheering them on when their parts came up. I also love the breakdown in their new song called "Monster." They keep surprising me, because I wouldn’t have expected the instrumental of the new song to sound that amazing live. One criticism: the stage lighting wasn’t bright enough, but I don’t think that was their choice... it seemed to be the venue’s decision.

The band Manicøre surprised me again. I saw them for the first time six months ago at the same venue called ElferClub & immediately fell in love with their song "Namen ohne Gesichter". So I was excited to hear what they'd release next and I wasn’t disappointed. Their summer hit Stiller Schrei has one of the most beautiful choruses I’ve ever heard. It also has a unique structure, different from the typical Metalcore song. Thank you for that! My seeecret tip is the song ECHO. From the very beginning, you can immediately feel the powerful message behind the lyrics. My only criticism is that the stage lighting is too dark. That’s not good for social media recordings and should be made brighter for at least a few songs, so the band members can be seen more clearly on video. I also think their shouter, Nils (if I remember correctly), could use a bit more stamina for his screams, they would benefit from a touch more resonance. Maybe McFit can help? Their Singer Lorenzo is on point as usual.

In preparation for the opening band that played at the Tag My Heart concert, I listened to Manicore on Spotify, and one song stood out. It was called Names w/o Faces. It’s such a beautiful song that almost sounds like an anime intro. I initially thought they were an öko band, but I was wrong. It quickly became clear that their singer, Loryo, is a beast. He has amazing pipes, powerful vocals and can hold long high notes. He really knows how to sing. I b*t he could have become a great opera singer if he’d had a different taste in music. The other band members are talented too. It was a fantastic metalcore sound I got to hear that evening. As I said, I came first and foremost for Tag My Heart, but Manicore was a beautiful surprise. I can only recommend buying tickets to their concerts.
