Combining the descriptive storytelling he’s known for, with dark, urgent rockers, WARFIELD is the solo project of She Wants Revenge lyricist & singer Justin Warfield. Infused w/ the spirit of early-80s LA Deathrock & modern Dark Wave, Justin draws inspiration from the past, creating something new in his own inimitable way.
Long before SWR debuted in 2006, Warfield gained critical attention w/ “Season of The Vic”, followed by My Field Trip to Planet 9. Sometimes called the first Trip-Hop record, Warfield fused his love of Native Tongues & Jane's Addiction to make his own Laurel Canyon version of Hip-Hop.

In addition to remixing and featuring on songs by Bomb the Bass, Depeche Mode, The Chemical Brothers, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Placebo, and Gary Numan, Warfield also released LPs under One Inch Punch, Tape, Dream Club, Forever Never Changes, and The Black Hesh Cult.

Now, WARFIELD finds Justin exploring shades of his past work, but w/ a brash, fun, sexy energy. Citing early KFK, Siouxsie, Super Heroines, Nymphs, Christian Death, The Damned, and Xmal Deutschland, The B52’s and New Order, WARFIELD recalls the spirit of what’s come before while signaling what’s next.

Unlike past projects which documented a moment in time, WARFIELD is a proper solo project w/ multiple releases & tours in 2025.

And w/ 1st single,“All The Fun (Kiss, Kiss, Kiss)", WARFIELD announces not only the arrival of a new artist, but also a new age of Deathrock for the baby bats and OG’s alike.
