The 10-piece “jazz and pop orchestra” BOSCO is an all-round collective that was founded in 2003.
Founded by arranger, producer and trumpeter Daan Bogers.
The band played at countless festivals, theater stages, events and was on TV several times seen and heard on the radio.
In addition to their own programs, BOSCO worked over the years with various artists, including the rockabilly sensation “Liptease” from 2015 to 2017 and The Voice winner Dennis van Aarssen with whom the band won an Edison in 2020.
BOSCO is currently preparing for a new theater tour with 'gypsy crooner' Johnny Rosenberg, with whom the band can also be seen at various festivals.
BOSCO has a reputation for versatility. The band is extremely dynamic and moreover, anything but a static orchestra, but a collective where both the pleasure and the quality from scratch. A major role is played by the 6-man horn section, which has many power as subtle melodic lines bring the characteristic BOSCO arrangements to life to take. The band was voted crowd favorite more than once by several Dutch jazz festivals.
