Very entertaining, great selections of music. Impeccable musicianship. It put me to the spirit of Christmas. Bösendorfer sings in that beautiful church.

The show was terrific, Mada and Hugh are very entertaining and talented. I especially liked the big screen so you could watch their hands, it was amazing to see how close their hands get without interfering with one another. terrific show.

Mada & Hugh were absolutely fabulous! So glad that Hugh positioned a camera to watch their hands in action. Amazing to watch -- there were times when they were both playing the same note, or one had hands stretched across the other's hand(s). Incredible to watch & hear!

I have had feedback from many of the concert attendees who all agree - the concert was "magical". The setting, the acoustics, the piano and (above all) the performers could not have combined in any better way than they did. "Mada & Hugh" are destined to become a truly remarkable duo. Community events like this are too few and far between. Let's get off our rear ends and start enjoying life and each other once again!

Pendle Hill is a Quaker retreat and learning center and this was the first New Year's Eve celebration that featured Madalina and Hugh performing four handed piano compositions. The concert started with a well-known piece by Mozart. It was followed by compositions from some lesser known composers. Both Madalina and Hugh performed solo pieces. Their next to last duo piece featured a brand new composition by Dr. Nina Siniakova who is also a Cunningham Piano artist. Their duos ended with one of my favorites (Tico Tico no fuba) which resulted in a standing ovation. I believe these two extremely talented pianists have found a "niche" in performing four handed piano pieces! I think one of their best arrangements (not played at this concert) is the piece from a Charlie Brown Christmas (Linus & Lucy) which was arranged by Hugh. I'm certainly wishing them the best of good fortune and am looking forward to a concert they have scheduled for March 18, 2023 at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Clifton Heights, PA.
