Kaeley Jade’s vibrant debut album, Turpentine, introduced her to the Canadian music scene as an artist to watch. Earning a Canadian Folk Music Award, a Henry Armstrong Award, and a Western Canadian Music Award nomination, Turpentine received international press, charted across Canadian radio (including two #1s on the Indigenous Music Countdown), and was featured in film and television productions like Hockey Night in Canada (Sportsnet), Warrior Up! (APTN) and Teen Mom: The Next Chapter (MTV).

A Renaissance woman at heart, Kaeley Jade’s creative practice extends far beyond her musical prowess. After attaining her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Alberta in 2020, she has continued to dance between the worlds of music, theatre, film, and visual arts. Her work on Two-Headed/Half-Hearted—a prairie-gothic folk musical that premiered at Northern Light Theatre in 2022—showcased her talents as a composer, sound designer, and actor, and earned her a Music in the Arts award at the Summer Solstice Indigenous Music Awards. With over 150 performances across Canada since 2023, Kaeley’s deep love of storytelling and dynamic stage presence shine through whether she performs solo, duo, or with her five-piece band.
